The Green-Eyed Lama by Oyungerel Tsedevdamba and Jeffrey L.Falt
It is a novel of Mongolia, based on a true story. The story is about life in Mongolia during 1937–1945.
It was one of the difficult times of our history. Every time, reading about those days gives me sad feelings. But besides that, I really enjoyed reading about the beauty of nature in every corner of my homeland, traditions, songs, and love. All those written in this book remind my home.
I think this book can give you an adventurous, lovely, happy but sometimes hard, sometimes sad journey. Also, you can imagine and understand most of the culture of Mongolia and nomadic life.
Just finishing the book, I feel like I visited my home and traveling through the countryside.
Volume 2 of this novel also been released a few years ago but afraid it is only in Mongolian.
Love for all❤️.
